The Cherry Orange or the mini-mandarine from China
The Cherry Orange originates from a southern province in China. This very small citrus, is from the family of mandarins and it is more than1300 years old.
During its long trip through history, it was never altered by human king. Still today, the Cherry Orange retains all its original taste.
This fruit was initially reserved for the imperial family and Chinese nobles.
The Cherry Orange was primed many times by the Chinese government and it has become one the best product in China. Yet, it was never commercialised outside its country of origin.
Thanks to Green Leaf, this mythical product is now available to the consumers in Europe. The Cherry Orange has a diameter not bigger than 25 to 40 millimetres. It is very easy to peal and children love them.
It is also very juicy and full of sugar. Its texture is thin and its taste memorable. The Cherry Orange is always harvested ripe on the trees. It is a unique snack full of vitamins.
